I heard a disturbing conversation between a father and his son in the park

The boy said that he had killed a butterfly, so dad said:
"No butter for you for a week" and boy quickly said back:
"I also killed a cockroach.."
"Nice try son"

What kind of family is that, killing innocent bugs..quite sickening..
